San Francisco Bicycle Coalition: 49-Mile Scenic Ride User Submitted

Inspired by the classic 49-Mile Scenic Drive, this intermediate-level casually-paced ride rolls past a plethora of San Francisco’s iconic attractions and neighborhoods. Details: -Meet on the Polk Street steps of City Hall at 8am for an 8:30am roll out. -This intermediate level ride is 49 miles with 2,600ft of elevation gain. We’ll ride at a 10mph average pace. -Bring/carry your own lunch or plan to purchase lunch at one of the food kiosks located behind the Music Concourse in in Golden Gate Park. -Be sure to bring at least 1 water bottle, layers, & lights for your ride home.
