Royal Production Company World Premiere

When: Fri., Sept. 16, 7 & 9 p.m. 2016
This summer Royal NoneSuch Gallery in Oakland, with the support of an Alternative Exposure grant, transformed into Royal Production Company (RPC). Four artists/collaboratives were selected to create new video works using the gallery as a site of production during a three week residency.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
