Rock the Bells

Wednesday, Aug 5 2009

If you're looking to throw your hands in the air, wave 'em like you just don't care, then scream ... oh, for about 10 hours straight, then you'll definitely want to be at the Rock the Bells festival. From its humble beginnings in 2004 as a one-off show in San Bernardino, Rock the Bells has grown into the pre-eminent summer hip-hop package tour. This year's stellar lineup clearly reflects that unrivaled status — and represents a wide spectrum of hip-hop artistry — with Nas, the Roots, Common, Outkast's Big Boi, the reunited House of Pain, the Wu-Tang Clan's RZA and Raekwon, ex-Jurassic 5 Chali 2na, Sage Francis, Pete Rock, Murs, Slum Village, and others on hand to keep the beats tight and the rhymes flowin'.
