Aiming to help S.F. DJ RasCue (Frank Quattlebaum) with the cost of a kidney transplant, his friends in the hip-hop scene are coming together to throw a
ResCue benefit. Prominent artists J-Boogie, Dilated Peoples, Azeem, Rasco, and members of Hieroglyphics (Opio, Casual, Pep Love, Phesto) perform live for an extremely value-packed price, the proceeds of which will help offset RasCues future medical bills. The solid lineup is indicative of the community love people have for the DJ. Collective spirits lift at ResCue on Thursday, June 25, at Temple. 10 p.m., $12; 978-9953,
