RAWdance's CONCEPT series is rolling out installment No. 17 in its cozy evenings of contemporary dance, all accompanied by cups of coffee and the crunch of popcorn in the style of the community klatch. Like past iterations, CONCEPT series: 17 puts together an impressive assemblage of local choreographers and companies for a leisurely cruise through the Bay Area's creative scene. Contributions include a preview of FACT/SF's Relief, an exploration of the elusive quest for satisfaction; a solo by Deborah Slater Dance Theater; a duet for two men by Hope Mohr Dance; excerpts from ka·nei·see | collective's recent production of Cookie Cutter; and a duet by Amy Foley. As always, RAWdance offers a glimpse of its own work, this time a preview of Double Exposure, a series of duets composed by 12 West Coast choreographers set to premiere in 2016.
RAWdance presents CONCEPT series: 17 at 8 p.m. through Sunday at Joe Goode Annex, 401 Alabama St., S.F. Pay what you can; rawdance.org.
