In late April Rabbi Beth Singer of San Francisco’s Temple Emanu-El traveled to Greece with a small group of Bay area rabbis and local Muslim leaders to meet with Syrian and Yazidi refugees who were forced to leave their homes to flee war and persecution. The trip was organized by IsraAID, a non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to providing life-saving disaster relief and long-term support.
