Positive Resource Center (PRC) celebrates 30 years of service with its annual gala, Mighty Real. Hosted by LGBTQ rights pioneer, Ken Jones, and Michelle Meow, of The Michelle Meow Show, this year’s event honors the legacy of singer-songwriter, Sylvester. During the event, PRC is honoring actor and philanthropist, Sheryl Lee Ralph, with the inaugural Sylvester Community Pillar Award. Ralph landed her breakthrough role as Deena Jones in the Broadway musical, Dreamgirls, for which she received a Tony nomination for “Best Actress in a Musical.”
