Pirate Night

When: Sun., Oct. 5, 7 p.m. 2014
Put those images of peglegs, parrots, and salty guys saying "Arrrrr" far out of your mind. The setting for these movies is Somalia, not Shipwreck Cove, with Tommy Pallotta's animation-augmented documentary Last Hijack and Cutter Hodierne's fictional drama Fishing Without Nets taking the Somali pirates' perspective as they attempt to make sense of the dire conditions that have led these men to lives of high-seas crime.
