Pianist Jeanette Tietze holds degrees in both piano and violin pedagogy from the Hochschule fur Musik, Vienna, and an MM degree in Piano Performance from SF State University, where she studied with Carlo Bussoti. At SFSU she was also awarded a scholarship and studied piano trio repertoire with William Corbett-Jones. Her teachers in Vienna included Oleg Maisenberg and Leonid Brumberg, former assistant to Heinrich Neuhaus. She also studied with John McCarthy here in San Francisco. Jeanette holds a Kodaly certificate from Holy Names University and teaches at several schools in the Bay Area and Music Director at Holy Innocents,Corte Madera
