When: Fri., June 30, 7-8:30 p.m. 2017
Price: Free Admission
www.facebook.com/events/1410896848968916
Join us for our next Page Views meetup – the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco book club – to discuss ‘The Girls’ by Emma Cline. Set against the backdrop of late 1960s Northern California, Cline’s debut novel and instant bestseller charts the life changing summer of teenager Evie Boyd. The novel references the same time period as our current exhibition, ‘The Summer of Love Experience: Art, Fashion, and Rock & Roll.' Entry to this event is free but we highly recommend purchasing tickets to ‘The Summer of Love Experience’ to enrich your experience!

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
