The organ recital series at Grace Cathedral features some of the finest organists playing one of America’s great organs. The organist today is Mr. David Hatt, a renowned Bay Area organist who has performed with the San Francisco Symphony. Mr. Hatt’s program will consist mostly of improvisations by Marcel Dupré, which have been meticulously transcribed from the recorded archives kept by his family. The transcriber Dr. David A. Stech, will be in attendance and will answer questions after the performance.
