Oracle Hysterical is a chamber pop collective of composer-performers Majel Connery, Elliot Cole and Doug and Brad Balliett. Half band, half book club, OH combines eclectic musical influences, with literary breadth, adapting great works of literature through the through the medium of song. Its classical instrumentation and lush arrangements anchor influences ranging from John Blow, to the Beatles, and My Brightest Diamond. Led by conductor Stephen Prutsman, the group partners with a handpicked, 10-piece local ensemble to unveil a trio of artful, rock-infused works.
