The 37th Northern California Book Awards will celebrate writers and readers in Northern California. Awards in Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry, Translation, and Children's Literature will be presented, with brief celebratory readings and remarks by the winning authors. The Fred Cody Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Daniel Ellsberg, activist and author, and the NBCRecognition Award, TBA, will also be presented. A lively reception with book signing follows, all free and open to the public. Nominees and honorees announced June 2018.
