Noir Noel

The Reckless Moment, in which accidental homicide happens, and a shady stranger enters the picture, after a California homemaker decides to separate her daughter from the influences of a rotten boyfriend. Joan Bennett, Geraldine Brooks, and James Mason star in the plot-twisty suspense. Henry Hathaway’s
Kiss of Death stars Victor Mature as a parolee who fears for his life after he helps the cops catch a psycho criminal (Richard Widmark) who, due to a D.A. bungle, goes free. The evening will also include an appearance by noir maven Eddie Muller, who will reveal the complete schedule of the upcoming Noir City 14 festival.
