Active Music Series presents: Jordan Glenn's Beak, New Zombies, and Ackley/fluke-mogul/Mezzacappa. The Active Music Series is focused on presenting new creative jazz and improvised music across the Bay Area. It is dedicated to highlighting the work of artists that embrace experimentalism, are informed by traditions, and demonstrate the confidence to combine complex concepts into unified works.

  • Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage.
