Mothers and Daughters in Art

The Prodigal Daughter and the Healing Mother. A mixed media collaboration between Peruvian born artists Mabel Valdiviezo and Bila Flores. This exhibit brings to light the multi-generational stories of a daughter, a mother and a grandmother through their own journeys of becoming immigrants, and finding the ties that bind them together.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage.
