Most Fashionable Person

Chelsea Starr

As DJ of long-running lesbian '80s dance club "Hot Pants" (second Fridays of the month at the Cat Club), Chelsea Starr must really see it all, fashionwise. She seems to love it all, too: Her style is wicked eclectic. Sure, sometimes she's in layers of cream lace and weird pearls (as she was for a reading at K'vetch some time back), but more often, it's screaming fluorescent accents on highly customized black T-shirts (photographed in the DJ booth) or insane print jersey jumpsuits (her appearance on San Francisco's Fashionist blog). She's been famously fashionable for years now, and we celebrate a person whose commitment to the details, connections, and concepts of any given outfit is unsurfuckingpassed.

(Sorry, no information is currently available for other years in this same award category.)
