For four decades, the music of legendary Houston-born singer/songwriter Rodney Crowell has honored country’s past while adding a rock ‘n’ roll punch. A member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, this icon among giants has earned the title of “The Godfather of Americana” (NPR). In this rollicking concert, Crowell will perform a solid-gold selection of twangy two steppers, hard-driving blues rockers, dusty cowboy ballads, and windblown prairie gems.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
