Money, Women, Money, Rage, Money, Megalomania, Money… Rings a Bell? Harpagon is obsessed with money. His son is, brains-wise, a sandwich short of a picnic. His daughter longs to marry his top adviser. He has dictatorial power over the whole household, and thinks of himself as almost perfect, with a soft spot for much younger women. He is short tempered, obnoxious, and prone to firing whoever resists his will. Where money is concerned, he throws tantrums, is devoid of empathy, and believes the law should bend to his whim. Surprisingly, no one takes him seriously. New English translation premiere.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
