Tonight, if history is any judge, well get multicolored fog. Itll be beautiful, really, especially if you ignore whats happening inside of it and how many tens of thousands of dollars' worth of explosions are occurring within the drizzly mass. We suggest a kayak trip in the bay. Why? One: Because nighttime kayaking is one of those things you should do before you leave the city, like loitering in the Tenderloin or hitting all the lights on Franklin. Two: multicolored fog! Three: Because you will be the envy of everybody, even people on the boats (but not the yachts), if the high-pressure system throws us a fucking bone and moves off the coast or something like that. The Fourth of July Fireworks Trip also does something cool: It puts into port at Fishermans Wharf, giving you a chance to have dinner and look at the traffic before setting out to a floaty spot under hoped-for stars.
