In December 2013, the visionary Austrian filmmaker Michael Glawogger and his cinematographer set out to travel the world for one year, to film what they experienced with no expectations or restrictions—pure cinematic freedom.
But four months into the project, Glawogger died from malaria. Monika Willi, his long-standing collaborator and editor, created this film out of the footage he shot.
