Phone: 415-564-8080

We are delighted to have Michael Chabon here to discuss Pops: Fatherhood in Pieces at Bookshop West Portal just in time for Father’s Day! In a stirring collection of essays, Chabon gets to the heart of fatherhood and the mysterious, joyful challenge of raising the next generation. With his usual sensitivity and charm, Chabon ruminates on his own father’s legacy, the nature of childhood, and the profound confusion so intertwined with parenthood. An enlightening read even for those of us who are not fathers, Pops is sure to be another classic.

Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
