Join Stanford University's Center for Compassion & Altruism Research & Education (CCARE) for a FREE Meng-Wu lecture series featuring Associate Professor, Stephanie Brown, from Stony Brook Medical School in New York. Dr. Brown will present: Is it safe to help? Perceived familiarity with the recipient alters the neural, hormonal, and immunological consequences of helping behavior. The talk is followed by Q&A, and will be held at Cubberley Auditorium within the Graduate School of Education at Stanford University on Thursday, Oct. 11th at 6pm.
