At Kiva, we believe that Oakland is stronger when its small businesses thrive. Join Kiva and the City of Oakland on October 6th for Made In Oakland - A Fall Food & Fashion Event! This celebration of Oakland ingenuity will occur in the beautiful outdoor space in front of City Hall. Music from local musicians will fill the air, vibrant local fashions will color the scene, and unique treats and drinks will be a feast for all the senses. Most importantly, the entrepreneurial spirit that is the foundation of Oakland will inspire and delight. Let's rally together as a community

  • Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'.
