List: What S.F. students will learn from new school standards

The state of California recently adopted school standards developed by 30 other states. What will San Francisco students now learn in school?

• Don't mess with Texas

• People actually live in the Midwest

• Penmanship

• If a company hires two people to do a job and then hires two more, that's four jobs that will be shipped overseas

• American history, excluding 1960-1969 but including the parts about Jesus

• Reasons they shouldn't learn Spanish

• The business skills necessary to run a meth lab

• How to find 30 states on a map

• The dangers of communism

• Country music theory

• Just how much smarter kids in Iowa are than we thought

    Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday.
