Lightning Never Strikes the Same Place Twice
Dancer, filmmaker, and performance artist Catherine Galasso returns to S.F. with a dance/theater/video extravaganza about Roy Sullivan, the real-life, Guinness Book-verified lucky sonofabitch who was hit by lighting seven times. Along the way, Sullivan meets up with Hot Wire Honey, a woman made of electrical cords, as well as Ballerina Internationale and Testosterony Pony. Obviously, Galasso sees plenty of humor in the situation. She also presents her solo dance Simmer, an homage to her father, composer Michael Galasso, who wrote the score to Lightning.
