A whiplash succession of double and triple crosses, set to an offbeat soundtrack by trip-hop artist Chen Weilun, this ingenious and meticulously crafted film takes place in the corrupt, crumbling town of Mengxiu where China meets Burma. At the center of the story are a woman (May Wang) and a drug dealer (Sun Honglei) who becomes her husband after first being her kidnapper.
