Le Castle Vania: Show Preview

Atlanta's Le Castle Vania (born Dylan Eiland and also known as DJ Dylan) is often pegged as an electrohead. But he recently offered one of the more memorable retools of Cee-Lo's "Fuck You," hotwired with a hallucinatory new disco-funk string and rhythm section that suggests a broader sonic palette. His recent "Bulletproof Tiger" mixtape provides a snapshot of Eiland's DJ style, working the best bits of his own records with tracks from likeminded acts like Boys Noize, Toxic Avenger, and Fukkk Off; the latter is a supporting act on this tour.
