Laura classically trained but deeply steeped in the jazz tradition, has been influenced by the writing of Thelonius Monk, Wayne Shorter, Fred Hersch and Joanne Brackeen.
Jason is a first call drummer in the Bay Area. He has performed with many artists including Gary Burton, James Moody, Mark Murphy, Bob Sheppard, Paul McCandles, Norma Winstone, Larry Coryell, Darol Anger, Regina Carter, Kurt Elling, Boz Scaggs, and others.
Shimpei came to the Bay Area from Japan to study at the California Jazz Conservatory. He has performed with many musicians locally.
