The annoying thing about being a one-hit wonder is that everybody knows you for that one earworm you put in society's collective head. In most cases, society's head only needs one earworm per one-hit wonder (hence the name), but then there are artists like Kimya Dawson, who shouldn't be a one-hit wonder at all. She should either have no hits or a million of them. C'est la vie and curse Juno for that damn Moldy Peaches song, which is good but... enough already. Get outta my head! The ultra-prolific Dawson's done so much more than "Anyone Else but You" it's ridiculous, and her most recent solo album, Thunder Thighs, not only has one of the best titles ever, it's also got the best AA/recovery song ever, "Year 10," which features Pablo Das, who happens to be her supporting act at this perfect-for-kids afternoon show.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
