Modest neighborhood Vietnamese with a lengthy menu and bargain prices (a bowl of pho could easily feed two). Try the shrimp ball appetizer (fresh shrimp paste wrapped around sugar cane, served with rice noodle, rice paper, fresh vegetables and herbs, and fish sauce). Very convenient for a bite before or after a bargain double-bill at the nearby neighborhood movie palace, the Balboa.
