He is a soulful singer and an impassioned player on a multitude of instruments including guitar, piano and harmonica. Johnny connected with Berkeley’s Suzy Thompson when they were both part of Geoff Muldaur’s Texas Sheiks project, which brought together Austin’s best Americana musicians to support guitarist
