The San Francisco Fine Print Fair is presented by 18 members of the International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA). The dealers' diverse areas of expertise make for an in-depth look at pieces that could appeal to new art collectors and aficionados. The fair features prints from the masters of the 16th and 17th centuries, Edo-era Japanese woodblock work, European and American Impressionism, 20th century American modernism, as well as contemporary pieces. The high quality prints range in price, yet many are affordable and can be purchased for around $125. A portion of ticket sales for Friday's preview benefit go toward the Achenbach Graphic Arts Council, a support group of San Francisco's Fine Arts Museums. Every print in the show is for sale, so plan enough time to take it all in, or to view and learn from leading experts from the field of print.
