Lla Cantor is a young, dynamic, award-winning guitarist and composer. Although grounded in jazz, her music and playing challenges our contemporary categories of music. Her Encanto project showcases the charango, a guitar-like instrument most commonly heard in South American folk music genres. She has studied at the New School University in New York and the Banff Center for the Arts in Alberta, Canada, as well as in Spain with renowned Argentine composer and pianist Guillermo Klein.
