Dance Lesson with Mike Ferketich at 8:00 pm; Show at 8:30 pm Iko Yaya dishes out steaming New Orleans-drenched “swamp and roll” for dancing. The band is made up of longtime members of some of our favorite local groups, and it’ll be a night of “bon temps roulez” big time! The musicians got together in 2013 to play the Louisiana-influenced music that moves them, and, as Jim Scott reports, “That’s when the party started!” Tonight it’s a full plate of their favorite New Orleans-based dance music – blues and boogie, Cajun/zydeco, R&B, Second Line, and even country – all delivered

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
