“I Wanna Get Famous"

Though based in Atlanta, Ozone Magazine and its supplemental publication, Ozone West, give more coverage to West Coast rap artists than almost any other magazines. Publisher Julia Beverly is continuing her birthday tour around the country by cosponsoring "I Wanna Get Famous," a showcase of aspiring Bay Area rap stars competing for a prize of $4,000 worth of publicity and music video services.

    Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage.
