How to Win Friends

Wednesday, Jul 7 2010
The "How-To" series, organized by Juliana Gallin -- also the big brain behind the "Ask a Scientist" series -- gets drunk tonight. Seven years of experience make Caleb Shaffer a great teacher for the "How to Make Beer in Your Basement" event; the series website points out that "When you learn to make your own beer you save money and get invited to more parties!" Past episodes of "How-To" have featured book publishing, vegetable gardening, and videoblogging. If you know how to do something neat, get in touch with Gallin, and tell people how you DIY.

Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
