Hide Your Gay Kids

Wednesday, Jun 5 2013

Tracy Morgan must have something on his mind grapes he needs to talk to you about, because he's coming to San Francisco to perform his comedies at the Palace of Fine Arts. Morgan was known first for being a Saturday Night Live cast member ("I'm Brian Fellow!") and then for playing a version of himself — an egocentric, loud-mouthed, offensive comedy star — on 30 Rock. His statements about homosexuals, the handicapped, and masturbating while thinking of Sarah Palin have insulted more than a few. His latest tour is called Excuse My French, so basically you're obligated to forgive whatever he might say by paying for your ticket. If you've liked him before, you might love this new tour of his. You might love it so much you'll want to take it behind the middle school and get it pregnant.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
