He Will Ring Your Bell

Wednesday, Mar 25 2009
We dubbed him Best Comedian of 2008, and while we're going to have to pry that crown out of his clenched fists, W. Kamau Bell is actually way more famous for something else. (And we're not even talking about his repeatedly sold-out one-man show The W. Kamau Bell Curve.) The discovery led to an invitation to a Comedy Central showcase show in Los Angeles, and the comedian's career possibilities at this point are pretty Hollywood. He shares the stage these four nights with Kevin Camia and Sean Keane.

Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
