"Fagriculture," "Bootierobics," and "Wig Rescue" are some of the tamer workshops at the Black Rock City–oriented gay man day camp Queericulum. Nontame offerings include "Men's Naked Yoga" and "Dr. Bitch Sir's Buttfucking Class." (Who knew we'd be able to hear Tim Pawlenty having a heart attack all the way from here?) With impressive aplomb, the organizers of this innovative event keep the focus on pleasure, education, and community for freethinking men. So while the point of Queericulum is mostly to be silly, "Fagriculture," for example, is a genuinely informative course in food awareness and activism, and students are expected to take notes. But yes, participants also get to wear silky pajamas all day, eat, drink, dance, get their makeup done, get their picture taken, and learn how to cook with marijuana. This little wonderland also includes classes regarding queer history, massage, and our very very favorite, "Reveling in your FAGGOTRY!"

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
