Guy Maddin, auteur filmmaker best known for The Saddest Music in the World, presents in person The Forbidden Room and My Winnipeg alongside some of his favorite films, including Dishonored (starring Marlene Detirich), Street of Crocodiles by the Quay Brothers, and the 1923 silent movie Sylvester: New Year’s Eve at 8:15 p.m.

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage.
