Ten years ago, Ghostly International launched its foray into techno by releasing artfully packaged vinyl singles. A decade later, the Michigan-based label is celebrating the fact that it's still thriving and evolving into myriad dancefloor styles by throwing a birthday party where all eight artists on the bill will play live. Expected highlights include S.F. producers Christopher Willits and Tycho, who experiment with guitars and laptops; New York's Michna, who makes bouncy, electro-tinged hip-hop; and Seattle's the Sight Below, whose barely-there sonic introspections make minimal techno seem loud and busy.
