Get Well With Montel: Montel Williams on Medical Cannabis

When: Fri., May 26, 6-9 p.m. 2017
Price: Free
After two decades of using cannabis as a medicine to treat the debilitating symptoms of his Multiple Sclerosis, Montel is launching a line of medical cannabis products for patients called Lenitiv Labs (featured on Dr. Oz, Forbes, Business Insider, Salon, SF Weekly). With much of the national attention these days on recreational cannabis, Montel wants to ensure that patients, like himself, have access to the consistent and high-quality medicine they need.

Williams—an award-winning media personality, decorated former Naval officer, entrepreneur, and wellness advocate—was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 1999 and has used cannabis products ever since as a medication to manage the disease's symptoms.

The legal cannabis industry is laden with non-medical brands and products but the true medical cannabis consumer has been largely ignored by current brands in the cannabis space. Lenitiv Scientific’s mission is to ensure that seriously ill individuals have access to high-quality, standardized medicine to manage their symptoms.

Meet Montel and learn how to get well with his unique blends of proprietary formulations that utilize the latest in cannabis research and manufacturing technologies to ensure consistency and purity.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
