Hear This: GBH
You can't call yourself a punk unless you've seen
GBH live at least once (at least that's what the old-school guy standing in the back of the room told me). Singer Colin Abrahall can still belt out classics from the band's earliest records such as
City Baby's Revenge and
City Baby Attacked by Rats for the purists who cross their arms at every live show. And while the band's last full-length was
Perfume and Piss from 2010, GBH doesn't need a reason to tour. Fans of early Exploited and Discharge should all be in attendance since the band's live show always incites random acts of well-controlled violence. GBH is rounded out by the formidable rhythm section of Ross Lomas (bass) and Scott Preece (drums), who sync well with guitarist Jock Blyth.
