The sixth season of Friday Nights at the de Young Museum kicked off in style with live music from Le Chat Lunatique who play a self-described brand of "filthy, mangy jazz," absinthe, and famous artists Vincent van Gogh, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Berthe Morisot, and Paul Gauguin -- who were brought to life by actors who occupied the museum floor and painted while party goers mingled.

The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
