"Mother, Daughter, Sister" is a new, award-winning documentary about one of today's gravest human rights crises. The film presents the stories of ethnic women affected by rape as a weapon of war in Myanmar (Burma). Told through the eyes of four Rohingya and Kachin women, "Mother, Daughter, Sister" shows the brutality of the Myanmar military, the resiliency of survivors and their quest for justice and accountability. Director Jeanne Hallacy and producer Gregg Butensky will be present at the screening and will lead a post-screening Q & A with the audience. Join us!

The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'. Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"
