An immersive multi-media installation created by Sean Stillwell, Festiverse is an exploration of the illusory nature and escapist culture surrounding art and music festivals and an attempting to understand their benefits vs the costs to ourselves and the planet.
The natural surroundings, neon lights, counter culture environment, psychedelics, and non-judgmental community common to these gatherings are in stark contrast to the high stress, disconnected, mundane, status based ritual that we endure day after day. However, this opposite end of the spectrum leaves us drug induced, physically/financially drained, and more or less, right back where we started.
