Mary Ellen Hannibal and Susan Middleton present their book, Evidence of Evolution, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the printing of On the Origin of the Species. Their book combines fine-art grade photography by the latter with layperson-friendly explanations of key evolutionary concepts by the former. WHY IS THIS STILL CONTROVERSIAL!? Oh, hey, sorry, it's just that we thought this was ALL WORKED OUT ALREADY, INTELLIGENT DESIGN FOLKS. Plus we don't even get what's so bad about being a monkey's uncle. Philosophically, the interrelatedness of all life, and even the becoming of inanimate matter after death, is ... duh! Why ... rrrgh. Anyway, these two ladies are awesome, with their large-scale narrated slideshow of the special specimens they were given access to at the California Academy of Sciences.
