For the first time in its 800-year history, the Escolania de Montserrat of Catalonia, Spain, will appear on the West Coast of the United States – at Grace Cathedral. This celebrated European choir will perform with Oakland’s Pacific Boychoir Academy on Thursday, July 6, 2017. The Escolania de Montserrat is one of the oldest music schools in Europe and the premier boys’ choir in Catalonia, Spain. Pacific Boychoir Academy (PBA) is a GRAMMY Award-winning, independent choir school for boys grades four through eight, with seven after-school choirs for boys in pre-kindergarten through high school.
