The New York-style slice is the subject of much obsession, even in San Francisco, and many pizzerias go to great lengths to conjure up those thin, floppy, oily triangles. With a number of Escape from New York Pizza locations around the city, this chain tackles the task gamely. The California-influenced result may not impress a visiting Brooklynite, but most of the customers come to this Financial District location for a quick bite, not a taste of home. The potato pizza with rosemary and whole roasted garlic cloves is especially tasty.
